GameBoy Advance – One of the main success for Nintendo was GBA (GameBoy Advance) in 2001. Although it was of the same generation as GameCube but it gained much more popularity. Nintendo sold about 80 million units at that time globally. GBA is a successor of GBC (GameBoy Color) but it was much more powerful than GBC because there was a 32-bit ARM7TDMI CPU introduced in it which was capable of delivering high-definition resolution and immersive gameplay experience that couldn’t be imaginable previously.
Another big change was the change of its design which changed from the horizontal shape of its predecessors to a vertical shape, making it easier to use and comfortable grip. With a large screen, gaming became more awesome than ever.
