Succeeding the successful Super Mario Kart for the SNES system, Diddy Kong Racing ROM is a racing game in 3-D environments that extends to racecars with an adventure twist. Taking turns at the wheel, the first being Diddy Kong and his friends that have to compete in racing Air, Land, and Water to eventually defeat the evil master in the game of Wizpig.
The game features three types of vehicles: vehicles like go-karts, hovercraft, and aeroplanes, where each mode of racing depends on the environment that it provides. It follows Diddy Kong having to save his home island along with his friends from the evil Wizpig, using golden balloons to discover new areas, challenges, new worlds, and most of all, racing.
As players know, there’s Adventure Mode in Diddy Kong Racing where various races await players, several bosses to battle, and after their defeat, the keys to progress through the levels. There is also an entertaining multi-player mode for two, three, or four players that makes it perfect for several friends or family members. Having such persons as Banjo and Conker, this title got a rather warm welcome from fans.
