Contra ROM, in broad, is actually a fast-paced run-and-gun video game first released on the NES back in 1988. Equipped with a number of weapons in their hands and a strong sense of humour, Bill and Lance have to kill their way through eight challenging levels with armed troops, deadly traps, and giant brutish aliens.
It has thirty stages for players to complete, twenty of which are side-scrolling stages and ten are pseudo-3D stages. Power-ups such as the Spread Gun, Machine Gun, and Laser are featured, and these players can collect with a view to aiding them in the game. Contra ROM was well-renowned as one of the hardest of the shoot ’em up series; entering “Up, Up Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start” rewards the player with 30 lives, which certainly is useful when battling through the game.
Emulator
